Working with TheNeverPress

Lovely words from incredible artists and creators who have worked with us

Siobhan Cawson-Mooney

Poet In Residence, TheNeverZine
“Having my poetry accepted by TheNeverPress as been amazing. I have been sending work out for years and never once had any success. For people like me, from a working class background with late diagnosed AuDHD, I never felt I was worth anyone’s time. TheNeverPress truly believed in my work and offered me to be the next poet-in-residence for TheNeverZine. I have grown so much as a poet and writer through this collaboration and have been able, for the first time, to see myself as an artist of words. It’s been an exhilarating ride so far and I am so excited for what is to come”

Molly Malcom

Narrator, Maria & The Devil
“Recording ‘Maria & The Devil’ was intoxicating and otherworldly. It was a gift to play such a variety of electrifying, mysterious characters, and to give voice to the raw landscapes underscoring the haunting emotional life of Maria. This was a dream project and the collaborative process with TheNeverPress was nothing short of magical. I was fully trusted to explore and be completely wild and free.”

Sasha

Poet, Write Speak Recover
“Write, Speak, Recover is a fantastic community of creators; driven, passionate individuals. The diverse range of perspectives and real sense of inclusion feels like a blend between friends, family, mentors, and students. There's something magical about going to write and speak with people who recognise that the journey to healing starts with recognising recovery: it's one step at a time in the right direction.”

Aaliyah Arshad

Author, Subliminal Soul: Chakra Reflections
“Working with ThenNeverPress on my zine, Subliminal Soul: Chakra Reflections was a completely unique experience as the freedom I was given allowed my ideas to truly develop. On top of that, the creative direction enhanced my vision so the zine had artistic cohesion. This meant I could focus on what I was best at, which for grassroots artists is so important as the best creativity comes from free expression. This experience was so rewarding because I could develop my own ideas alongside a team that genuinely cared about supporting my vision”
