About our Titles
Our books are produced in-house as much as possible. Working with our network of typesetters, graphic designers and editors we’re creating a library of original titles that stand apart, but also carry the unique and unmistakable voice of ‘TheNeverPress’ as a creative collective.
A Publishing Atelier
We put our hearts into our recipes, and the stories we tell come from a place of authentic expression. This ethos is carried through in every step of production. We collaborate with artists, typesetters, printmakers and designers to bring our stories to life, and we celebrate every human hand in production by championing their craft and honouring the rich history of print work in the UK.
Our atelier model means that we work across genres, forms and mediums. We don't chase the next bestseller, we don't latch ourselves to trends. We care about artists who are creating from a place of meaning and intention. This means that the artists that work with TheNeverPress are encouraged to bring in ideas and dreams to be developed and realised together.
Novels
Our novels are predominantly magical-realist, but like TheNeverPress itself, they may also blur genre lines to create stories that defy categorisation. There is a wildness and untrammelled imagination in the stories we tell, and this carries through into our design thinking. Each book is designed with the preservation of the story in mind - our typeset, layout, material choices and design are an extension of the story being told. Our novels are wrapped up into our All Are Planets imprint.

Zines
We're creating and presenting beautiful, strange and niche zines and comics in serial form and standalone one-shots. These are housed in our Break In Zine Works zine imprint. Submissions are open for contributions to our series lines (collabs or full editions) and we're also accepting original work from you, too.

Subliminal Soul: Chakra Reflections

We're cooking up some really great titles, with some wonderful collaborators, presented within new imprints. All of these are created and produced by the creative collective, in-house. Here are just a few of the projects coming out real soon.
American Flora - An Road Trip of Dreams, States and Botany
American Flora is a series of impressions of wildlife and nature, and their properties imagined. These botanical drawings are of plants that live, but have not been seen by the author, of places that exist but not yet visited. An ecosystem that’s part of the world but, as yet, unknown.
Each edition of American Flora focuses on one American State, and contains 6 botanical drawings, with accompanying impressions of their properties. We're working our way through each State, with the intention of collaborating with botanical artists from all over the world to complete the collection.

PS - we love botanicals, so if you have a botanical art project outside the scope of American Flora, then please get in touch anyway and fill us in.
Glasshouse Ossuary Poetry - A New Full-Service Imprint
We're working on a variety of poetry projects from some incredible new talent which will all come together in Glasshouse Ossuary, our poetry imprint. These volumes, chapbooks and series will be available in print, digital and audio. Various Sorrows & Joys - a New Model for Independent Publishing
Various Sorrows & Joys is a collaborative world-building imprint that moves beyond the printed page, into a City of shared experience and emotion. We are producing, printing and distributing an ever-expanding series of short stories that all take place within the same unnamed city with an invitation for readers to share their own various sorrows and joys via an integrated QR code, to create a living archive of real human emotion. These stories are presented in beautifully designed pocket-sized chapbooks in an ongoing, numbered and highly collectable series, and complemented by a full suite of bespoke content such as author interviews and articles, podcast episodes and open submissions for new.
